Description

Stretch those arms out with the Kubota TE6583T Tedder! Featuring a working width of 27’ 3” and less horsepower required to operate, this Tedder saves you time and money in the long run. The TE6583T lets you maximize your productivity with its wide working width and easy transportation to and from the field, folding the tedder from the comfort of your tractor’s seat. The tedder’s chassis, rotor gearbox and Super-C tine are all built with the long-haul in mind.

Features

Strong Chassis Design: All Kubota tedders are built around a rugged, CNC bend, box chassis made out of one piece of metal with only one welding seam for maximum rigidity. The chassis design is fully enclosed at the top edge for maximum strength.
Easy Transport: Kubota's TE6583T and TE8511T are both easily converted from working to transport position. Wheels are fixed during transport for smooth and stable running. This can all be done from the tractor seat, only requiring on 1 set of hydraulic outlets. Both models are approved for 25 mph.
Rotor Gearbox: These Kubota tedder models have a maintenance-free, oil-immersed gearbox, which means less time required for servicing and more time in the field. The gearboxes are integrated into the frame, making them extremely durable. Because they are not part of the frame structure, but are mounted within the actual frame, the gearbox is relieved of frame stresses.
Super-C Tine: The symmetric Kubota Super-C tines efficiently pick up the crop from two different areas. As it spreads the crop, the crop is inverted so the lower crop is placed on the top, giving a more even dry down. The crop is then spread evenly across the width of the machine for consistent drying. These tines are made of 0.39" shot-peened spring steel. Our spring coil diameter has a 20% larger diameter than conventional designs. This increases each tine service life, even when tedding heavy, high moisture crops.
Large Working Widths: Even with large working widths, due to their trailed design these tedders are still ideal for lower horsepower tractors. This minimizes compaction and operating costs – certainly a great advantage in times of escalating fuel and labor costs. TE6583T – 27'3"; TE8511T – 36'1"
